Anyone got a good low-ratings team?

I always try making a team using average joes and it either gives me a stacked team or I end up cheating a bit and I really can't help it. Cupcakes is just too bad. Are there any good teams in the 2-4 star area with like C's and B's overall that is still serviceable? I'm a pretty good player but I would like to win a few BCS championships before NCAA 12 and Madden 12 came out.

My latest try if anyone's interested: http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/n...073:1304563687 (Note: For the uniforms, all of Alt helmet, jersey, and pants = nike pro combat)

Also, I'm interested in using any kind of O and D. For this team I was planning on running a pro style rushing offense with a bit of west coast, and a 4-3 run based defense with lots of blitzing and stunts.

Give my 1996 Vanderbilt Commodores a sot. they have a very strong defense with a less than average offense. They are a very challenging team to play with. They ran a west coast type of offense. The head coach was Rod Dowhower. Woody Woodinheifer was the defenseive coordinator. Gamer tag is tcoaker.

Re: Anyone got a good low-ratings team?

What I do is take the Cupcake roster and edit 4 players (2 Offense 2 Defense) to an 85 overall. This usually makes the team 76 OVR, 78 OFF, 74 DEF. You could always choose to edit more players (3 OFF, 3 DEF), or make them all 90 overall. This should give you a C+/B- OVR team.

If you do this, I'd recomend editing:
OFF:
1- QB
2- HB
3- WR
4- OL

DEF:
1- MLB
2- CB
3- S
4- DL

Also, if you don't want to use TB, you could try:
-Washington
-Conneticut
-Mississippi State
-Rutgers
-Hawaii
-Nevada
-Troy

Also, for TB are you using XBox or PS3?

Re: Anyone got a good low-ratings team?

For TB, I'm using PS3 (unfortunately cannot download any teams until PSN is back up obviously) but I've decided to make a fictional Missouri college that has Marcus Duprees' son, Marequez Dupree. It'll be a cupcake roster with a 99 overall runningback. He'll probably go NFL after 1-2 years but it should help me land some decent recruits and a bowl game. I'll keep it all at cupcake (except him, obviously) while maybe editing a few players to high 70's/low 80's. Thanks for all the advice so far by the way.
