Team Builder Question

When you swap a TB version of a team with the same team on the game (TB UGA with UGA) do you lose the teams entrances, and the animal mascots? Also do you lose the teams preset uniforms or can you still use those? The last thing, I know the announcers say mascot names for TB teams but do the announcers refer to the TB teams by state and mascot, ie Georgia Bulldogs? Thanks

I don't believe this has changed this year. A Teambuilder team will only go by their nickname, and they inherit nothing from the team they replace except for the main rival.

you also inherit at least that schools preseason ranking as i painfully found out in year one. finished 9-3 and coaches with 1 win had more job security than me because my three losses were all to "lower ranked" teams even though they all had much higher overall grades. i didn't get the ax, but it was close

I thought you inherited that schools records as well, but i could be wrong

Ok cool thats kinda sucks then cuz I like the entrances for the teams. Don't really want to loose those.

Yeah. It sucks not being able to have the entrances anymore. EA should fix that next year.

maybe someone can help me out with an answer on this.

here's the deal i don't know why but i wanted to start an OffLD with FIU, but didn't care for their uniforms.

so i'm replacing FIU with FIU, however, i don't want FAU as a rival.

my question is: is there a way to replace FIU with my TB FIU team and get a better rival?

Let's say you want Florida as a rival, for example. Sub your TB FIU out for Florida State. Then sub Florida State back in for the real FIU. Then re-adjust conferences or whatever you want to do.

i lost my last 2 games to Tenn. and FL. & both games my coaching contract said i lost to a lower ranked team. since when did vandy become better than tenn. or fl.?

so my next question: is their a point in making a cupcake team? if the team you replace is better than than your TB cupcake team, do you inherit their ranking?
