[Q] NCAA12 Notre Dame Helmets

I am in the process of finishing up my TeamBuilder Notre Dame team for 2012 with all updated rosters and uniforms. I am trying to be as accurate as possible with the roster ratings and uniforms. I have also created a variation of their 2012 Shamrock Series uniforms. My problem is this, though. I am having trouble with the color of their helmets. It looks as though NCAA12 used the older helmet style for ND. If they are using the newer sparkly helmets, NCAA12 did a pretty crappy job of conveying that look. I am considering just keeping the helmets stock and no custom coloring since no color I seem to use captures a closer color or look to the "sparkle" helmets. Has anybody gotten the helmet color right? I'd love to figure this out or if the stock ND helmets are the best way to go.
