Does it redshirt based on template?

I read that if you pick a custom roster template your previously redshirt players would be randomly arrange after each save on the site, but if you pick a team template would the redshirt status be base on the player your editing?

Unfortunately no. I used USC's roster template to make a USC roster with the updated #'s and guys are all messed up. People have redshirts who shouldn't and vice versa.
