Small Fan Base In Big Stadium?

Hi,
The team I'm creating is in the same city as a large pro football stadium, which is in the game. I want to use that stadium for my team, but there's no way this university could ever fill the stadium. If I set the fan base small, will that affect how many people are in the stands?
Thanks

I highly doubt the fan base has an effect on how many people show up in the stands considering its EA Sports they just take every single stadium in the game and make them full for every single game in every single stadium

Okey doke, thanks for the info. Since you put it that way, I highly doubt it as well.

Well, I tried setting my team's stadium as Cowboys Stadium. I set the fan base to "C", and it gets about half full. That's not as low attendance as I'd like, but a lot more realistic than completely full.

Yeah, that's how Cowboys stadium. It was sparse, but about 50% filled. You used 1 star, I'll try that. What was your fan base?

Re: Small Fan Base In Big Stadium?

I created a Detroit-based school, using Ford Field as their home field (Ford Field is already in game for MAC championship).
I used the "cupcake" setting for roster, which resulted in a 1-star school. I set the fanbase to a D+.

My home games are packed - although it looks like more people in the stands are wearing the visitor colors than mine, lol...
