I wish I had known about this feature back when I first got the game otherwise I wouldn't be in this position, but does anyone know of a workaround to give you the 120 Teambuilder slots now that you can't simply purchase it? I thought of one idea but would need someone to help me with the experiment.

Don't have an answer for you, but hopefully you're not trying to get it to import 120 teams into dynasty mode. You're still stuck with the default 12 regardless.
