Don't expect NFL 2K news until they are listed as a NFLPA licensee.

Oddly enough 2K announced they acquired the NFLPA license a year ago, but they have yet to be listed as one. I believe this has to with NFL 2K being delayed. With that thought in mind, I wouldn't expect to hear any news until they are officially listed as a licensee. When they are listed then it will be time to get excited for a reveal. Here's the link

Hope 2k not going through a stumbling block to prevent them from releasing the game

At this point I don’t even care. I wish all game companies wouldn’t keep things quiet until they had something to say or show. Announcements for announcement sake are getting old.

It’s been over a year and we have zero concrete info on the game.

It feels like it was only announced because they didn't want to be leaked.

At least getting a title of game or the developer would be nice. At least then, we would have an idea of what type of game it will be

Time to get excited. After a year of not being listed as a licensee even though they made a press release stating they secured one, 2K is finally on the NFLPA licensee page! Time to get excited for at least a name reveal.

I thought I saw they were initially listed. But nevertheless, it's a positive sign. But, the likelihood of hearing anything the rest of year is limited. 2k usually partakes in GamesCon, but that's usually just for NBA 2k. I see hearing stuff around the Superbowl. But it also depends when it is going to be released. If the reports were true, 2k wanted a launch after the NFL season starts and NFL prefers a traditional before season launch. I'm sure the NFL will get its way.

It was listed briefly before being officially announced by 2K for a couple of days then it was taken down. Then 2K officially announced it a month later in a press release but they never were listed on the NFLPA licensee site. Most likely due to the year delay. Finally a year later they are officially listed.
