I'm really jonesing for this game. I don't know what it is, maybe the depth and the chance to truly run an organization is what's drawing me to this title.

I contend that this will be the sleeper sports title of the year.

This is closely moving into "buy upon release" status. That picture of Kiper is very impressive. Also, I like the depth chart screens.

I'd start learning XNA if I were you, then...
I just haven't seen enough from Microsoft to this point to make me think many new games (and expecially sports games) are going to be backwards compatible anytime soon.
