NFL Head Coach and my laptop

I have not purchased a sports or game title, for that matter, for a PC since the PS2 came out. I now have only the XBOX 360 and am so wanting NFL head coach for my laptop. It is not one of those souped up gaming laptops but is is a gateway multimedia systems. My question is, has anyone used madden '06 on their laptop with success? Here is what I have to the best of my knowledge:

Gateway M505
Pentium M with centrino
Built in ATI Mobile graphics card

Just want to hear if any has had success running these games on a similar or less system. I will NOT be buying another computer to play a game (that should be compatible with x360 to begin with)

I have an HPdv8040. It has an AMD 2GHz processor, 1G RAM, and an ATI Radeon Xpress graphics card and I have run Madden '05 without any problems. I also play Civ IV on it, and no problems there either.

Not sure how much that helps....
