And in regards to the Saints taking Leinhart in the game, maybe the Saints never got a QB in Free Agency (unlike Brees in real life) and their most pressing need is CERTAINLY a QB over a RB (they still have McAllister for crying out loud) so I can see why passing on Bush happened there too...

You have to remember, current A.I. does not take into consideration, emotion or "attachments" (aka. hard-ons for the "best RB in 20 years") like the media and fans do in real life - you have to admit that HYPE plays a HUGE role in how the REAL draft takes place, and this game's A.I. doesnt have that to affect it.

Now, the argument could be made, "Why dont the producers have the draft preset as it really happened until you pick your players"... well, again, the game starts before all the FA signings and trades happened in march, etc., so the teams likely have different needs going in to this draft than in real life so that wouldnt be fair to predetermine it for the sake of keeping the continuity...

I guess I'd be ok with it as long as the draft doesn't happen the same every time. Maybe it would also be based on what coach move to what team and the philosophy they bring. I'd be alright with that.

Re: Diary of a Head Coach at IGN

Luckym is right. I too was somewhat when I saw the list, but what he says makes sense.
