While I dont mind the older rosters for career mode, online play would be nice to have an accurate representation. Maybe that will be corrected in a future download.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering ... if we'll be able to update the rosters or anything.

I was convinced I wasn't getting this, then started reading your impressions ... everything you describe is the ONE THING, I enjoy the most about sports games ... all the "other stuff". Looks like I should enjoy it -- I'm just hoping there's some still in stock after I get off work.

Excellent thread! Thanks for taking the time on these questions, I think I'll pick it up after work. I was wondering one thing.

I know the off-field tasks are different than Madden. But, could we be just as content with playing in coach mode on Madden? Or, is this a much different experience from Madden's coach mode?

With the game clock only being 5 minutes will fatigue be a factor?

That's exactly what's happening at my house with the demo right now. I tell my wife about the draft, practices, and the gameplay, and she just shakes her head. I guess I can relate, because when she talks to me about decorating the house or something like that, I react the same way. Funny stuff!

I feel like somebody who is starving, out in the cold in the middle of winter in a pair of boxer shorts in Cleveland, looking through your window as you sit by the fire eating a turkey dinner! Hopefully EA will get my game shipped here soon!
