Anyone else think that this type of game would be great as an NCAA version? I just picked up Bowl Bound College Football based on the review here at OS and I think it would be pretty cool to see some of the recruiting and gameplanning done from that perspective. Besides, there are so many different play styles in the college game, I think it would be a big challenge.

Either way, I can't wait to hear more about NFLHC and hope it does well enough to warrant NCAA consideration in the future. I'm pretty interested in this one...

I think that would be a good idea, but like you said, it would be dependent on how NFLHC does and more importantly, whether EA can do a good job on it.

In some ways I think this extension of EA's football liscencing would've benefited from doing it with the NCAA first instead of the NFL. NCAA coaches have just as much and in some ways a lot more responsibilities then NFL coaches.

Either way i'm really hoping this succeeds.

I tried the demo of Bowl Bound CF, and it looks really good. Can you play the game in real time such as calling plays or do your pre game inputted percentages soley determine your play calls? Can you play head to head offline?

Yes, you can call the plays yourself. It's not really "real time" because you have all the time in the world to decide but you can do it either way. If you have the demo, make sure you have the Enable Play Calling box checked or it will call the plays for you.

Oh, and I agree SPTO...I can see it either way but I definitely think EA would be better served starting this as an NCAA game. I'm hoping that's why they tied up the NCAA license as well, not just so 2k wouldn't make one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one! I might actually pre-order and stand in the store waiting for that one...heck, I might even take the day off of work when it came out--something I haven't done for any game.

Not sure. I don't play online dynasties. It doesn't offer an exhibition game option either so I don't think you can do H2H offline.

Skimmed through the full manual that comes with the demo and you cannot play off or online exhibition games. Anybody ever try "Click Football"?
