I didn't notice that... well Skyboxer may have found an alternative.

So, do they work well? I might go buy a wired 360 controller for this game if it works well. I need anoter one anyway. I only have one 360 controller.

How do you get the controller to work on the computer? How do you install it?

On Windows XP, as soon as you plug in a wired 360 controller, it installs the drivers itself.

Wireless ones don't work, obviously; no receiver.

What if you used a wireless with the charger attached to your PC, would that work? Not that I have the game (almost bought the PC version this morning).

No, Microsoft made the controllers AND the operating system...think they'd let you get away with only buying one play and charge kit, instead of an entirely new controller? No way .

When I plug in the play and charge to charge it up, you hear the low "triple ding"...telling you the device isn't recognized.

I figured that much, but it would have been nice. I'm trying to decide if I want to pick this up, wish they would of made a 360 version. It would of made it so much easier.
