Head Coach Features we know from screenshots and Video

This is my observation from the Gamespot video preview.

There are some very interesting things I saw in this video.

1 - Pre Draft rookie ratings. I saw players rated around 99 and thought "great, just like Madden, overrating players". Then they go into the players "card" and the only rating that had been numbered had a 99 on there, the others had not been graded. So the overrall rating you see obviously is the average rating of the following grades:

Physical Grade
Intangibles Grade
Size Grade
Production Grade = 99
Learning Grade
Durability Grade
Potential

The other cool thing when looking at the pre draft rookies is that there is an NFL Comparison player, for example:

Rookie NFL Comparison
Darren McFadden ---> Willis McGahee
Chris Long ---> Michael Strahan
Early Doucet ---> Bernard Berrian
Philip Merling ---> Ebenezer Ekuban

2 - Nice looking trade interface - oh, and you can trade future draft picks.

3 - Coach Clipboard interface looks good, here are some of the different windows:

4 - A 3D model of Adam Shefter on the bottom left screen with him talking then going off with the ESPN logo. Looks like this will be the game that gets the ESPN intergration and not Madden

I hope this adds as much depth as I think it will in terms of building through the draft and defining the type of player you want on your team.

I'm also hoping that every player and assistant coach also has an approval rating based on where they stand with the media, fans, owner, staff, players, etc.

I am going to have a guess here but I'm sure the overall ranking will only be accurate (ish) if all of those attributes are scouted.

I suspect some of these Grades will be split into scouting sections.

At a guess:

Physical Grade - Team visit
Intangibles Grade - Combine
Size Grade - Combine
Production Grade - Senior Bowl or Season Watch
Learning Grade - ? Maybe another coach rating grade
Durability Grade - Season Watch (Scout player during regular season)
Potential - Assistant coach rating

Obviously you might not scout all of a players grade so you might only get an average score of 4 grades.

The difference between a good 1st round pick and a bad one could come down to 1 grade.
