Is there going to be any integration between the two games? Can a play a game in Madden 09, and have HC to manage the franchise? FIFA Manager did this, not sure if that's where they are going with HC or not.

Either way, I probably won't pick up the game for $90. I have Madden 08 on the PC, and that will last me for a while. I've seen nothing but negative with the "next-gen" Maddens, and 09 isn't shaping up to look any better.

Supposedly you can create plays and playbooks in Head Coach and import them to Madden.

**** that. I'm not buying a ****ty game just to take a crack at 09. Scratch that off the list.

Yeah that pretty much means that I will not be buying any kind of football game this year. I was looking forward to HC09. I had no desire to buy Madden. (I at least wanted to wait for OS's review and hear what others had to say about it.) So I guess EA desn't want my $60.

Edit: After I posted this my boy called me and asked if I wanna go half on 09 because he hates HC. I told him i don't have a problem with that. So we will see in August.

The only way this will become a sale for me at this point is if there is NCAA interaction, in terms of draft classes, with Head Coach and Madden.

If not, it's a no go fo sho doe......... simply not feeling drafting fictional players early in a Head Coach franchise, especially since drafting/scouting is a somewhat essential task in HC, but that's just me.

This is really disheartening. I didn't purchase Madden last year and had no interest in it this year. This is why EA sucks.

It seems like I'll just be buying it off of eBay..I'm sure there will be plenty of people putting it up after they never wanted it or realized it wasn't for them.
