Yeah I agree, but Josh is saying that he basically had to sacrifice having QB's audible in the 2 minute offense, so they don't audible out of 60% of the plays you call during the lionshare of the game..at least that's how i understood it.

Well then that to me means that there needed to be tweaking instead of flat-out disabling the feature. Obviously, the code there is more intense than anything I've ever seen before, but there has got to be a way that the hurry-up offense works as well as normal gameplay.

I don't mean to call Josh out on this one, but I feel that this is important.

Likewise! I have not purchased Madden since 2003, but I did this year primarily for HC - I couldn't wait for the standalone release.

Did he say when this was disabled? Maybe it was too late to spend time tweaking. At least he's looking into a possible fix, even if it is after it's on the shelves.

I imagine time became a restraint. Having worked in the commercial software development sector early in my career, I know how this can be a critical yet tough decision. Sometimes in order to meet deadlines you have to axe stuff instead of spending a lot of time tweaking it. It sucks, but it's unfortunately part of the business.

Re: The Two-Minute Drill Issue

Worst Case Scenario = SuperSim the last minute or so of the game.

I haven't needed to do that yet because I've put together some plays that I don't mind possibly being "stuck with" for a few plays specifically for the 2-minute drill...

But if ever necessary, I may just Super-Sim.

Go to team philosophy and change how often you run No Huddle Offense to rarely. Thats what I did and its worked pretty well.

Again, I understand, but how late in the dev cycle did Josh make that decision? Early? Late? We don't know.

Honestly though, I am not heaping blame, I'm just saying how much I wish that the feature had remained in a tweaked state. This is my form of wishlist for the next version, and I hope Josh understands that I am not criticizing him, as we have all made mistakes, but I am criticizing the direction that the game took.
