Does the roster update fix the QB being in almost every special teams set?

Matt Schaub is QB1

On kickoff
On kick return
on punt return
on field goal as a blocker

He's not the only one, I saw peyton Manning go down on a kickoff cause he was on the field too....


Is there a way to remove our QB's from sets like that? Or did the roster update do it?

Don't think so, but I think if/when there is a patch that should be fixed to not allow the QB to be in any special teams plays unless you manually force them in.

Yeah, I have seen this too. Not even just the QB, but some of my starting RBs and Wrs too. I thought I was just seeing things, but looks like others see this too. I couldn't find anything in the depth chart where I could influence the special team players. Is there a place or am I just missing it?

would be nice if there was a way to change it that someone would let us know... if I do quick sub in the game is that just for that play? I suppose I guess I can just do that EVERY special teams play, but that would get quite long, especially since the play clock runs while you do it.

Manning isn't on kickoffs?

he is on the game... I know for a fact I was tackled by #18, and then Manning was out the rest of the game on an injury. I also know I've seen Shaub's name with tackles on box scores thanks to being on my kickoff team.
