Glitches I Should Look Out For Are...?

Hey guys,

I am getting ready to get this game (might make a purchase on a site like eBay), but before I do, I'd like to know what some serious glitches are so that I can avoid them.

Now I know every game has glitches...thats just how it goes...so I don't expect a thread of every glitch in the game. I'm just looking for the main ones...ones where if I do X then Z becomes all screwed up. Or saving at this point in the games causes something to go wacky within another point. Things that I can be conscious about so that it doesn't ruin the game.

I know there are tons of these floating around in this forum, and I've tried to locate some of the glitches here. But if you guys could just post some serious ones to avoid, then I can print out the list and have it with me when I pop in the game for the very first time.

And as a side note, like in Madden, can you edit rosters for other teams (like, can I put Favre on the Jets even if I'm coaching the Browns)?

Not all of these are glitches per se, but nonetheless something to lookout for when playing out games, at least in my personal opinion.

You're a Steeler fan in Browns country, huh? Interesting...lol.

Thanks for the link...in regards to the playbooks...if you don't create your own plays, what then? Are you just stuck with an immensely small playbook?

And how good is the computer at executing your plays? I am sure personnel matters, but I create a...double reverse play...does the computer execute it in a smooth fashion? I don't know why, but I envision the CPU having problems running human created plays.

I like winners, what can I say Grew up a Steelers fan..I'm just hoping the Browns can actually make it a rivalry again

Pretty much. Although you can download plays from other people or create your own. Some of your season goals will require you to do this.

Can't really say, I haven't spent much time creating my own plays. Not a part of the game I really enjoy.

Thanks. How's the draft logic? Any glitches like in Madden where the CPU teams will take two QB's back to back...or a team like the Patriots will draft a QB in round one?

I haven't gotten too far in the drafts, but for the ones I did seemed reasonable to me. I think there might be some threads which discussed a QB issue some folks were having where the team had a stud QB already but they drafted a high QB draft pick.

Doing a test season with the Lions, whenever I go to draft recap the game freezes. Also, 1st round pick Gosder Cherilus is nowhere to be found on the roster but shows up on the draft recap. Perhaps this is the reason for the freeze?

Draft logic is the best you have ever seen, perhaps ever will see in a sports game. It's outstanding.
