Best trade bait: Carolina

So I just started a new career with the Panthers, they are one of my favorite teams and they have a very hard difficulty. When you take a look at their CB's in depth chart they are rated 79, 71, something around a 73 and a 65. But I looked deeper into this and by changing my philosophy to balanced CB instead of cover 2, I was able to get the following (OVR/POT) for the guys: (84/85), (83/84), (81/86), (72/75). Now thats more like it! However, all the guys are signed for at least 2 years and I have many voids to fill including my o-line, RE, SS, FS and ROLB. So I am thinking about which player from those to trade, I want to keep the 72/75 as a 3rd string but dropping one of the 80s for a pick would do great deal into pushing the team forward. So I have a conundrum on my hands either 1. Put one of them on the block (which one) or 2. convert one to FS or SS (which one) anyone got tips?

I would put them all on the block and see what the interest is. I usually put all of my players, except for the few untouchables, on the block. I might not want to trade them, but if the offer is right, I will.

For instance, with my Niners I put Isaac Bruce on the block...he was my best receiver, and I didn't want to trade him. The Rams offered me a 3rd and a 6th or 7th, so I couldn't pass that up.

Do players react negatively when put in the trade-block? If not, that's a pretty good strategy to see what you could get for your top (and especially old) players.
