If you get the bug, your player will ask for pretty much the maximum salary at his position. Depending on the player's position, this can be upwards of $10 M a year.

It should be pretty easy to spot, unless the player's overall is in the high 90s.

Thanks a bunch Dan for your prompt response. When I first saw some of the asking prices, I was like WTF?

Do you think it affects all players, or just fringe/low end guys? Do top tier players ask for too much as well? That might be hard to determine since they are top tier players.

The bug causes all players to ask for roughly the top salary in the league at their position. The further away they are from the top, the easier it is to spot.

A good rule of thumb is to save when the "Game Reminder" comes up before your game, and/or when the "Box Score" comes up after your game. The only exception to this is Thursday games.
That would explain why I have not seen this bug.

Hmm, I saved on Friday and reloaded and the FA's had the huge contracts. Its Monday now but they never reset, they are still asking for huge contracts.

edit: Ok, it reset on Tuesday. I'm in the preseason, what day should I save? Monday right before midnight?
