Where is Matt Ryan?

Ok...started a 'new' career as the Falcons HC. I figure it's a good challenge and will be fun to build around Matt Ryan, and make him my franchise QB...Problem is...Where is he.

I'm in the offseason right now w/ about 10-11 days till the preseason starts. On my roster the only QB's I see are Redman, Harrington, Shockley, and Betts (R). Where is Matt Ryan?

Is there something I am failing to realize? He doesn't show up in my depth chart either. Do I need to sim it to the preseason, and then he'll be there? I've noticed other rookies in my depth chart/roster noted by the "R" icon I see in the top RH corner.

Again, don't see Ryan anywhere on my roster, but when I go into draft recap it shows he was taken. I was hoping to be able to train him.

Any advice/help would be most appreciated.

Yes, contract talks don't begin until you are in the pre-season/training-camp.

Get him in camp the first week if possible, it would suck to have him miss valuable practice time.

Re: Where is Matt Ryan?

He might be holding out. Maybe you should try to work out a deal?

Sorry, I don't remember what menu option that's under.

Edit: Sorry, didn't see you hadn't started the preseason yet!

At one point prior to your first preseason game, you will be able to sign him to your team. Until then you won't see him on your roster.

Re: Where is Matt Ryan?

Thanks fellas...

I figured it had something to do w/ the preseason starting or either I have to work out a deal for him...I just didn't want there to be some Matt Ryan bug I wasn't aware of.

I was beginning to think I had to start over w/ a new team.
