Re: POST YOUR QB STATS...

Okay so with my 2nd Year 84 Rated QB Drew Trumblee I've put up these stats with the Bucs

65 TDs 13 INTs 5200 Yrds

i've supersimmed more than half of the games yes, and usually when i've iced it, but thats still ridiculous.

Final

GB:24 - 49ers:21

A. Smith (20 of 33 for 367yds / 2TD / 1 Int / 60%)

Gore: (12 carries for 20yds / 1TD / 1.6)
__________________________________________________ _____

A. Rogers: (21 of 28 for 228yds / 1TD / 75%)

R. Grant: (27 carries for 169yds / 2TD / 6.2)

Wow, 49ers pass way too much. I'm now going to play with the dolphins.

R. Grant was a beast in this game.

This game was played all sliders on "0" even special teams and defense.

Re: POST YOUR QB STATS...

Ok guys, so far Im seeing something really strange, there has to be a difference in the simulater between the regular season and the preseason/playoffs. In the preseason I was getting dominated and thought of benching Alex Smith, in the regular season he suddenly went into invincible mode and dominated every single team he played. Now, against my better judgement, Im playing the playoff game against the Giants, keep in mind I played them during the regular season and Alex Smith had a brilliant day as usual. Now its still early but Im seeing a few things I wasnt seeing otherwise...

1. Smith actually threw deep for once, it was amazing considering everything else was underneath normally.

2. Eli Manning threw deep twice in the first quarter, unfortunatly they were ducks and were lucky not to get picked off, but again it was amazing to finally see someone go deep.

So far this is the stat line, through 1 quarter only...

Alex Smith 4/10 53 Yards 1 TD 0 INT
Frank Gore 3 Carries 11 Yards

Eli Manning 7/10 88 Yards 1 TD 0 INT
Brandon Jacobs 2 Carries 5 Yards

Manning is too accurate so far but thats not the point, the point is that Alex Smith is playing much closer to how he should be playing, 4/10? I saw a stat line like that in one game, vs. Dallas, and he turned it on late to make a 28-0 game into a 31-28 loss that I nearly won anyways. I will update later but I have no doubts that the game seems to play out differently in preseason/post season then it does in the regular season.

Re: POST YOUR QB STATS...

Okay, if this helps at all, here are my numbers from Jon Kitna and the respective QBs against whom we have played. I am through 9 games of regular season play. I don't know if it's even possible to look at preseason numbers, but they won't tell as much as these anyway.

I play all the games all the way through, and call all my own plays. 15 minutes, default sliders except for FG length, which doesn't matter for present purposes.

I made some significant upgrades to the OL before the season, and have Felix Jones as the featured back. WR corp, obviously, is very strong. On defense, don't have very good DL, but DBs are much upgraded. As you can see, we are 5-4.

WEEK 1 (lost @ATL 21-18):

Jon Kitna: 34-50-395 (2 TD, 0 INT)
Trent Green: 10-19-166 (1 TD, 1 INT)

WEEK 2 (beat Packers 24-3):

Kitna: 14-20-194 (0 TD, 0 INT)
Joey Harrington: 14-25-111 (0 TD, 2 INT)

WEEK 3 (beat @49ers 24-18):

Kitna: 16-28-205 (1 TD. 1 INT)
Byron Leftwich: 31-50-321 (1 TD, 2 INT)

WEEK 4 (off week)

WEEK 5 (lost to Bears 20-6):

Kitna: 20-34-279 (0 TD, 3 INT)
Rex Grossman: 17-24-179 (1 TD, 0 INT)

WEEK 6 (beat @Vikings 41-24):

Kitna: 18-23-265 (3 TD, 0 INT)
Tavaris Jackson: 11-21-172 (1 TD, 1 INT)

WEEK 7 (beat @Texans 29-28):

Kitna: 30-48-364 (1 TD, 1 INT)
Matt Schaub: 9-18-161 (2 TD, 0 INT)

WEEK 8 (beat Redskins 26-18):

Kitna: 16-17-239 (2 TD, 0 INT)
Jason Campbell: 15-20-204 (2 TD, 1 INT)

WEEK 9 (lost @Bears 24-17):

Kitna: 20-27-262 (2 TD, 2 INT)
Grossman: 12-16-170 (2 TD, 0 INT)

WEEK 10 (lost to Jaguars 23-13):

Kitna: 29-43-335 (1 TD, 2 INT)
David Garrard: 14-22-136 (1 TD, 0 INT)

WEEK 11 (beat @Panthers 23-20):

Kitna: 18-28-221 (1 TD, 0 INT)
Matt Moore: 10-17-177 (2 TD, 0 INT)

WEEK 12 (beat Buccaneers 30-27):

Kitna: 17-27-291 (2 TD, 2 INT)
Jeff Garcia: 15-24-194 (1 TD, 1 INT)

WEEK 13 (beat Titans 13-10 in OT):

Kitna: 21-31-239 (0 TD, 2 INT)
Vince Young: 19-30-209 (0 TD, 0 INT)

OVERALL:

Kitna: 253-376-3289 (13 TD, 11 INT) (67%)
Opponents: 177-286-2202 (14 TD, 8 INT) (approx. 60-65%?) (did these in my head so excuse me if they are off)

Re: POST YOUR QB STATS...

Those posts ChicagoSparty are the ones that give me hope that once I ditch Martz I will get back to having realistic results. The ones that scare me are when I read how Brian Brohm is compelting 70% of his passes and is tearing up the league, then I get worried that its not the OC making players too good, its the game. Your stats give me hope though, let me know how it keeps going.

Will do. I'll update the post after each game.

Keep in mind, though, that Kitna is broken down (he told me he's retiring next year, probably due to injury) and is an idiot. Takes him forever to learn the plays.

Even on the plays he's mastered, though, I still see him throwing into coverage pretty frequently. And he gets bailed out by Johnson and Williams a few times each game.
