Like some or few I just got madden and didn't get the collectors edition. However the postivity surrounding this title is just too hard to ignore so I figured i'd pick it up,but no gamestop target etc in my area had a single copy?

It hasnt been released stand alone yet...

Sept 2nd for standalone I believe.

It was released to unwitting beta testers in the Madden Collectors Edition, but the final version won't be out until September.

The developers are using us all as guinea pigs prior to the stand-alone release date.

Even the stand alone version will release with some of the quirks and bugs we are seeing now. But with the patch coming out, this game will be very close to being a perfect game. To be honest though, even with the bugs we see right now, they are not that big of an issue, at least to me they haven't been. Especially with the workarounds, the game is very playable.
