Most people have gone back and forth because it seems like most of the sliders don't really do much of anything.

If you create a new coach, and the players don't know the playbook, it will greatly decrease your players' effectiveness (especially with blows assignments in the running game). You can go to the player stats and see the number of blown assignments for each player.

The coaches have such an impact on performance, that it's impossible to find one set of sliders that will work for everyone.
