When you go to view or attempt to hire a coach it will tell you their system in the top right corner (ie patriots pressure or Mularkey's power run).

Also, if you want to list who's available, view the coaches when they list off the firings. Then gameplan who you will fit best. Everyone is fired before the first bids start. New additions to the hire lists arrive after each playoff round is completed.

Re: Feature Breakdown: Staff Hiring

I might have found something we can use, since we don't seem to get much help here with this.

btw, this kinda sucks but it's a way to figure out who is available coaching wise...

when your staff evaluations come up(hirings/firings), just flip over to "NFL" and go to "NEWS" and see the STAFF FIRED for a list of all coaches let go by their teams and what positions they held with that team. It's the closest thing to what we're looking for.

Give it a shot. Make sure to set your sim speed to slow so the timers don't go out before you can look at all the coaching firings and get back to your clipboard.

good luck!

I don't pay enough attention to my playbook but maybe if you put that specific task on delegate from the clipboard they will automatically pick plays.

I got Mike Smith as my DC in my second year. I'm about ready for the first preseason game and I still haven't seen a clipboard option to take some of his plays. I do have 3 "Tampa Two" plays now. Hope he doesn't mind coaching a 34 (his preference is 43) since I don't have any 43 plays.

PS. I just finished my first preseason game with Mike Smith as my DC. Two of my favorite defensive plays are missing! Does a new DC just add and delete plays without my knowledge!!!
