Manually change jersey numbers?

I searched the forum, and nothing came back - is there any way to do this in the game? If I sign one more lineman or tight end with a single-digit jersey number my head will explode.

Select the player in your roster screen and you will see an 'Edit' menu item available.

since i am a realist i have to go to the teams i play to fix the numbers.. ugh. but oh well.

Don't feel bad. When I fired this game up for the first time, I had a generic rookie QB on my team wearing the #12. Of course, being a huge Bills' fan, I couldn't very well have another QB wearing the number of the great Jim Kelly. Frantically, I looked for a way to change his jersey number but was unable to find it. So...I cut the guy...all because he was wearing #12. Don't mess with our history, dammit!

Note: I figured out how to do it shortly after that...but the residual effects still linger as that generic QB has become one of the top-10 QB's in the league, 4 seasons later. For the Dolphins, too. :

So...I cut the guy...all because he was wearing #12.

hahahahaha

Actually I did something similar. I had a camp invite come into Skins camp wearing #21 so i cut him immediately.
