I have only done 1 pre-season draft and I did not do so great. What are you guys looking for during scouting?

lol...other than potential? i look at comparisons, strength/weakness chart, learning, and size.... learning truly is one of the most important attributes in the game...unless ur looking at a DT, a low learning grade will ground even the fastest and most powerful players.... i've actually seen guys with learning as low as 5 or 10 with a max of 25 or 30....

Exactly....these Vince Young type of draftees are no fun. All the ability in the world simply frustrates you when they are are smart as a brick and are consistently doing something wrong or cannot learn plays.

Obviously, it would be easy if we knew everyone's potential. But even scouting to the max, you only unlock the potential rating for a few guys. I think the question was: how is it so easy to find the steals of the draft when most of the players' potential is ?'d out?
