Roster update 2 overrated freeagents

Why are a lot of the undrafted free agents and first or second year players that were cut by teams in real life and now free agents rated so much better than players on actual NFL rosters. These guys made their teams for a reason and I'm pretty sure it isn't because they suck worse than cut players. I have a handfull of training camp invitees that are better than my veterans. I can understand if one or two of them were decent but it's a common thing in this update.

The ratings of your training-camp invitees can't be taken at face value...

The overall rating that you see at the start of camp is usually based on nothing but their size and other physical gifts. As the pre-season weeks go on and you begin to unlock their "true" ratings and potential, they most likely won't be rated nearly as high as they were at the beginning of camp.

I had a DT who was rated 89 when he first showed-up at camp. I checked his ratings once training-camp was over and he turned out be a 69 overall with a potential of 72; and his injury rating was like 46.

Yeah agree completely, those walk-on superstars are generally great trade bait in the first two weeks.... it's funny seeing them come up as available free agents the 1st and 2nd weeks of the season afterwards!
