Changing the playbook?

I made a poor choice starting up my Falcons franchise with my choice of playbooks when meshed with my personnel. So, I suffered through my first season at 8-8 and was rehired. I got rid of some of my sorry coaches and made upgrades to most of my coaching spots. I made it through the offseason and entered the preseason but never was given a prompt to change the playbook. I don't want to suffer my entire career with these plays. How do I change the playbook for offense and defense? Someone please help.

Re: Changing the playbook?

I've been wondering this too

You can delete some plays. And add some off Online.

But i want to replace my patriots air it out with martz air attack for example.

Bump.

Re: Changing the playbook?

The only way I know how is to hire a new OC that has the Martz playbook, and on the staff bidding screen select "replace singleback plays" and "replace shotgun plays"

Otherwise one thing I did was go to play creator outside of franchise and load up the martz playbook and edit the plays and save as whatever and then upload and then download into your franchise. You can do 5 at a time then.

I find it's very important to develop your playbook and delete the bad plays and practice the new plays you steal with high success rating to get your knowledge to mastered.

Re: Changing the playbook?

Hmmm...maybe my problem was that I promoted my OLC to OC. I guess he doesn't have any ideas for new plays. I may just have to start my career over. I am only in week 6 of year 2. So much for loyalty to those current coaches.

Re: Changing the playbook?

I encountered this too. I understand the desire to want players to develop their own playbook, but if I can lose the original playbook by hiring a new coordinator I should also be allowed to change at the end of a season. Not a huge deal, but another thing to consider in the next version.
