    Symbols on Player Charts

Symbols seem to appear and disappear on the player charts. Some I can figure out, like the crossed crutches for injury. I suppose that the red down arrow is another type of injury. What is the blue teardrop? And where is the key to these symbols, since they are apparently supposed to mean something.

The "red down arrow" means that player has been placed on Injured Reserve.

The "blue tear-drop" means that player is greatly fatigued.

The red down arrow does not mean placed on injured reserved. It simply means injured (out). It will say IR next to the symbol if the player is on injured reserve.

And unfortunately, there is no mention of symbols in either the prima or the laughable ea so called manual.

        .

Maybe I just have'nt been observant enough, but I'm pretty sure it does. When a player is simply "out" they just have a red "flame" next to their name, but every player thats out for the season (i.e. on IR) has the red down arrow next to their name.

Nope, you're wrong. The red down arrow means benched, either because of injury or missing practice or whatever. Get it, red down arrow pointing down to a line (bench)

It say "IR" if the player is on injured reserved.

          Red flame? Haven't seen that.

I second this. The arrow just means injury. If they are on IR it says IR. And I also haven't seen a red flame.

              Hmmmm...

...I just placed a player on IR and a box with a 'red-down arrow' appeared...Try it, you'll see it for yourself.

Nevermind...I just noticed that the icon next to a injured player isn't a flame, but a red line with a red arrow pointing at it. Maybe I need a HD TV...

I agree. I think the arrow to the line indicates a lowered OVR due to injury.

But that's just how I see it.
