Ive read that this sometimes can happen when you have less than 3 TE's on your roster, or possibly less than 3 TE on your depth chart, I forget. I'm not sure it may have been fixed in the patch, make sure you are updated.

Also, if patching doesnt work, see if you cant quicksub peyton out of kick return/kickoff formations. I've never tried it but its worth a shot.

make sure you have three tight ends.... i hate how my star tight end has to be on the field during kickoff though....any way to keep my number 1 and 2 tight ends off the field?

I have 3 TE's. I have no FB's though, so my backup TE is my 'starting' FB although I never use one. Do you think this is causing it?

I'm definitely patched so that's not the issue.

Yes, you must have 3 TE and also have a FB so your TE doesn't take his spot. This will fix your problem.

If your TE gets hurt, make sure you put a WR as the 3rd TE so it doesn't sub your QB in.

Actually I just made sure none of my TE's were on the FB depth chart and it worked too.

Thanks for the help guys. I was wondering why Peyton was tired all the time through my first two games.

You can quick sub on the kick off to put in the players you want for coverage. I think you can take as much time as you want to make these substitutions. I like to put my fastest and best tacklers 2nd stringers on kickoff coverage. Usually I elect to kickoff at the coin toss so I do the quick sub then. I know at that time you have as much time as you need to do it. Once you make the quick subs it stays that way throughout the game.
