3-4 DEs

Aiight i am having trouble with the 3-4 def. I cant seem to figure out what kind of LEs and REs i need for the system.

Anyone able to help in terms of size and skills i need to find

Use the 3/4 DE scouting philosophy and you will get a good basis for evaluating talent.

yea i got 5 DEs on my team

LE 80 pot
LE 70 pot
RE 73 71 72


NOTHING is out there. The FA list is lower along with the trade block lol. Doesn't help that 2 of my DEs are fragile as hell and are hurt every game about.

All i know is setting inactives with a 3-4 is not fun

Try converting DT or LB to DE. Sometimes you will find good gems that way. Best way to check is go to the depth chart and sort by overall/potential. It will show all the info you will need to see who would be good for converting.

Look for high strength players. You can usually find them pretty easily.

There are a few 3-4 DEs in the draft or you can just convert a DT to DE (Which pretty much happens in real life, Richard Seymour played DT in college, now he played DE in the Patriots 3-4)
