Are you going to post like you did with the Packers franchise? I enjoyed that a lot.

Re: Spoiler - Jack English Draft Guide

Until EG comes out with his version, there's a pretty good breakdown of the 2009 English draft here:

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...raft-path.html

It doesn't have Balanced potentials, but it does include player comparisons, school, and learning ratings for all players. Look for the zip file in about the 3rd post. I don't even want to think about how much time it took to do that. It looks the person attempted to do a complete draft guide for the English 2009 draft, but never finished it.

Re: Spoiler - Jack English Draft Guide

I'm actually using that one as a springboard for my own, so credits to CFraychineaud for his groundbreaking work. I couldn't find the source to credit when I looked originally - probably because I was looking with the wrong keywords in the wrong thread.

I pretty much finished the additional data collection last night, so my condensed/revised/altered version of his should be up in a day or two.

Re: Spoiler - Jack English Draft Guide

wouldn't Flash Gordon be the 2010 draft? I just did the Flash Gordon draft, and I'm pretty sure I'm in 2010.

I'm hoping you get to the 2011 draft before I get there, but I doubt it.

Re: Spoiler - Jack English Draft Guide

The OP is the English draft in 2009. Gordon is the 2010 draft.

Ok, ok, maybe that's asking a bit much.

Re: Spoiler - Jack English Draft Guide

As promised, this is my shot at an overview of the English path 2009 draft. All potentials listed are for Balanced philosophy. Not every player is listed, but I'm confident that 90+% of the players you would want to draft are included. That generally means a lower-end cutoff of 80 POT.

I will note that in this draft there are a handful of DTs with the comparison "Marcus Tubbs" whose potential hovers around 80 - but with Patrick Lopez sitting there in the third or fourth round, why are you screwing with those guys?

If you feel like editing & expanding on the inclusions, please be my guest & repost, giving credit where credit is due. Speaking of which, I tip my hat to CFraychineaud: I used much of his work to create this one.

Note the column of Knucklehead: this denotes players whose personalities, when known, may make it difficult to reach agreements on contracts or may prove otherwise disruptive to team chemistry.
