Changing playbooks mid-career. Would a PATCH fix this??

Well, it appears that there is no way at all to change your playbook once you start your career. I've even played around with and tested some scenarios. The option is available in the coachs clipboard options to turn on/off, delegate, etc, but it doesn't work "in-game".
On the coach hiring screen, i went after Ron Rivera as my DC after having started with a 3-4 pressure, even after selecting the "change some 4-3 plays" etc, i went in, and saw no Lovie Cover 2 plays in my playbook. I just saw the same formations and packages i had been using the whole season.

Griping aside, would it be possible to fix this issue with a patch?

I sure hope a dev. gets a look at this and has an answer.

Thanks

Good news, when you hire some VERY good OC and DC when you are on the hiring bid screen there is hte option to "replace the playbook"

Obviously the guy has to have the playbook you want, but at least there's a chance.

Actully it its to take a few plays out and if no one else is bidding on that coach, you won't get that option since there is no need to raise that coach's interest level

Its a bug. There is supposed to be a clipboard item that pops up after you hire but doesn't

No there's that and then there's an option for "replace playbook" it gives around 30% interest to the coach.

then not all OC/DC give that option cause i have yet to see that. I think its pretty much known it is slightly buggy.

They don't, from what I saw it's just the OC's that are very highly rated with many interested teams. I was bidding on a guy last night and the numbers for interest were above 100, i had to replace playbook, fire staff, and cut some players to get him.
