I have FINALLY blocked a punt!!!

It is true. I bought the Special Edition of Madden the night it came out and have since played Madden about 3 hours while playing Head Coach well over 200 hours. I play all my games because every time i sim, my coordinators suck and i have never seen a block of ANY kind. Funny thing was, i had gameplanned Improve Kickoff Return expecting to get a good kickoff return but my DT ran right up the middle and actually blocked it. Many times have i seen him break loose up the middle only to see him leap 2 feet early or drift to the left or right but not this time!! This may not seem significant to the people that just scored this wonderful game for a steal of $10 bucks but for me this was a unicorn.

Congrats! That's a feat! I'm in my sixth season; no blocked FGs or punts.

But I've had kickoffs and punts go back for TDs, so I'll take that...

I had two blocked punts in back to back weeks. I think that the "focus on kicking game" gameplan was used both times.
