What are "draft paths" that everyone keeps referring to?

            Re: Walter Payton Comparison!!!!!!!

There are four, seperate draft paths in the game. Draft classes aren't randomized, each path has a distinct progression in it's drafts. For example, Jack English will always be in the first draft class of his path, and will never be available in any other draft path. Xavier Cox will always be in the second draft of that path, and so on. Most people identify the paths with the big name rookies that are mentioned in all the draft previews during the season.

Four draft paths means you can play through four distinctly different careers. Draft paths are determined just prior to the regular season, so if you save before that point, like prior to the last preseason game in the first year of your franchise, you can reload that save and get a different draft class if you don't want the one you get.

              Ah well, that stinks.

I've got the Ozzie Jones path and it already has a Barry Sanders clone and a Bo Jackson clone. I think a Walter Payton clone would've made it the best runningback draft path ever.

In my franchise, about 6 years after the Zazalli draft both Larry Brewington and Mike Zazalli were free agents. Brewingtons stats were pretty good, but just wasnt a good fit for my team. Zazalli was only an 85 potential.

A month or two ago, I did a sim only career with the Zazalli path. Zazalli ended up being a god. He was drafted by the 49ers(not my team) and they went on to win 6 or 7 superbowls during Zazalli's 14 year reign as the 49er starter and he won even more MVP awards. He was rated 99 overall for most of those years too. They also had Gary Hammerhill(I think that's the right name. He's the college coach from Michigan that uses the spread) as HC for all those years so that style might've helped Zazalli out.

As for Brewington, I remember the name but I don't recall him making a big impact in that career. Of course, it was hard for anyone else to stand out because of the 49ers domination.

Could anyone list the 4 draft paths?
The major guys I remember from the first draft were HB Maceo Sweetney, WR Montario Tartt III and a DT. Maybe I didn't pay attention to the real No. 1 guy though cuz I wasn't interested in a QB.

At this draft now... Strongly debating between him and Vonteego Cross.
                            Any thoughts?

This draft class is the best I've run into so far.
                              Three comparisons in this class...
Walter Payton, Reggie White, and Ray Lewis. There is a slew of 93+ overall guys to be had and one at almost every position (CB, DT, RE, MLB, QB).
It was a great year to have three 1st round picks. The year before this was complete trash... this makes up for it in a big way.
