New indept HC game

Posted this idea in the madden forum yesterday after someone had a pretty good idea for being able to start hc in college then move to franchise. So far my idea hasnt gotten good feed back in that forum cuz they dont want something that indept and dont like not being able to control the players. So, here is the idea i posted:
great idea...love it! just throwing this out there as improvement or a totally different idea....
Lets say you begin you college career just like in 08 with the high school playoffs...then you do you college career....and when if you stay for you 4th year, at the end of it it asks you if you want to go to the draft or stay at your school as an assistant. Then, from there, depending on how well you train the kids at your position (RB career would work with future RB/FB, Wr with WR and TE ect..) after a couple years if you got a guy in the chase for the heisman or won a couple awards or reaches season milestones (1200yrds, 12TDs....) Then you get offered better jobs at different schools...like maybe move up to Offensive Coordinator then after a couple years or more if you keep reaching milestones...Head coach...but the schools that offer you contracts depends on how well you did....like if you set your goals for Top 25 Offense, and bowl game apperance for say 3 years and in that 3 years you were Top 5 Offense, National Champion, or Had Heisman Canidates....then better schools offer you contracts for HC.
Also....from the OC or DC job, you could be offered an Coordinator or assistant job on the NFL level, but with a crappy team like the raiders or jets....but the expectations would be set very high....to make it more realistic. Your coachs overall by that time would be good, but maybe not quite NFL level yet. (alot of OC's and DC's come to the NFL before they are really ready i believe).
So...lets say you take the HC job of a middle of pack team...****tgers...or Kentucky for example....and in a few years you got them competing for championships and/or you always have a top 3 heisman canidate....then slightly better NFL teams come knocking on you door. Stay in the college ranks a lil longer....say 5-10 years....and your overall goes up each year, your still competing, got heisman canidates....top 10 draft picks....even better teams.
Obviously....if you fail to do well at any of these levels you can and will get fired eventually, which would make you get offers from teams at lower levels (for same job) or lower position at same level teams.
Then, when you decide to take that NFL contract...the same happens...if you suck....you get fired. Then you have to take a lower position with a same level team....or...go back to college ranks as a HC...but with good teams offering contracts.
Eventally, you could build a dynasty in either College or NFL....or even both. Granted, you would have to have a limit on the number of years you played in the game...but this way...you would be around 23 if you came right outta college and took the positonal assistant job. SO, from there you could realistically coach close to 50 years. Thats 50 seasons to work your way to NFL HC and win a super bowl or build your dynasty.
Obviously this is just an idea...so comments and suggestions are welcomed!

Re: New indept HC game

In theory it's a good idea, but NFL and NCAA will never combine for one huge game. Also, head coach wasn't too popular on it's own so I doubt they would go high budget for a head coach game.
