Massive Freezing Issues

This is starting to affect my experience..

Basically the last 4-5 times ive turned this on and played it it will eventually freeze up..

It seems to happen after that dude in the bottom corner talks and is about to stop and play the music again.. But no sound comes out and that tells me it's about to freeze up REALLY soon.

Anyone else get this?

Do you mean during gameplay or during the week? I get this during the week once in a while. Seems like the audio crashes. When the audio stops working I save right there! After that the game gets slower and slower till you can not even save.

this usually happens in the off season for me. just save when you notice it happen reload and it should be sweet

mine just started freezing as soon as i start playing an actual game.

Yip Ive experienced quite a few bugs...

Ive had the one mentioned in the first post. Although I find that if you play or supersim (not normal sim) the games, that this occurence happens less and less.
Also if the music goes off, and you go into supersim, it sometimes fixes it without you having to restart or anything.

Another annoying bug is when gameday arrives and I select play game or supersim game and then it goes into the loading screen and just keeps loading and scrolling through the interesting info stuff that appears.

Thats why Ive started saving before and after each game now.

Just out of interest sake, are the issues on both PS3 and X360? Im playing PS3

mine is the 360, and i shouldnt say freezing issues, mine says disk is unreadable when i go to play a game.

I have experienced this 2 or 3 times, but if you save before the spot you can generally get through it. Just be sure to keep a backup file and to save constantly and you should be okay.

I play the 360 version BTW.

I can't play the game anymore, the game keeps freezing in preseason EVERY SINGLE TIME. I started like 5 different teams, with different playbooks and all heck I have even tried to sim the whole preseason but it will ALWAYS freeze. I still have my Bears franchise and runs smoothly year in and year out but if I try to start a new one it freezes, I don't understand it, it just makes no sense. So now I am sort of afraid to finish my franchise because when its done, so is will the game it seems.

Well this started to happen after I installed it (go figure) and than I deleted it to see if it would fix it but no cookie. I will try to install it again and see if it helps.

im in my 2nd year with the Lions at 9-4 when i decided i was done for a little bit and i went to save. during the save the damn thing froze and now th efile is corrput and i have to start all over and im pissed...

I don't know if this will help other peoples issues but here's what I did ...

-Cleared cache
-Deleted all game files
-Installed the game to HD
**AND**
-I NEVER start up my 360 with a game in the drive.

Since doing this, I haven't had a single freeze, period.

This worked with:

Madden 09
Head Coach 09
Fallout 3
...and some random Tom Clancy games i used to play.

I have had the game freeze on me the last three nights in a row. Every time about an hour or some into playing the game and every time it goes like this:

sound stops
game slows
game crashes

I am using the PS3 and I do not play the games, sim only.

another ea conspiracy! lol get us addicted to the game, then systematicly make us go cold turkey so we rush out and buy an new game! lol....just call me mel gibson.
