I think it depends on what you want out of the game...if you are wanting to be the player (ie madden) then this can be a little boring. But if you prefer the dynasty or franchise modes where you worry more about the coaching as opposed to the individual player...this game is a treat. (imo)

Good way of describing it. I haven't spent a ton of time with it, but so far, I'm really digging it.

I think so...just some of the quirks can be frustrating at times (like a 2nd string sub in his 70's asking for 25 mil/ 2yr contract to resign) and it can drag in places...but I played for a month without the hd. I just got the hd last week.

Okay. That's all I needed to know. I'll pick it up as soon as I get some cash. Which could be a while... Oh well, I'll just keep listening-in to what y'all discuss for some tips for when I finally actually get the game.

Really digging the game so far. Only thing is that it seems a bit on the easy side when you actually coach the games. Of course, I started off with the Giants, so that probably factors in a lot; I'm now running with the Raiders and created a new coach, so we'll see if that ups the difficulty.
