Thats honestly the best option we might have. We dont know who will be availble when we need new staff. Developing your own is the best option. IN 1 career i was lucking enough to get Jim Caldwell(Colts QB coach) to the be my QB coach. After one year, i promoted him to offensive coordinator. and it worked great. Plus i had tom moore's passing attack, and he came from that system. But my offense had a better year that year. I also got Ron Rivera as a LB coach. Promoted him to D coordinator. And my defense was better. It makes a difference. Teams in real life do that all the time. develop and promote. its the best. and for the best

Now that’s great advice! I hadn’t thought of promotions, and it opens up a ton more options. Thanks!! However, you realize now I’m going to be wasting more time figuring out who I want to promote. It never ends.
