A couple of questions

1. Can you extend a contract during the season?

2. Can you set sub in/out? I have a RB I want to develop and am to stupid to consistently sub him in. Also I sometimes just sim games and my backup gets 0 carries.

1. players should approach you about contracts starting around week 6 up until the start of the offseason. of course, if theyre pissed off, for whatever reason, they may refuse to negotiate and you either have to franchise him or let him go

2. as far as I know, while playing, the only way to sub in players is to use the quick sub, every time. for simming, set your team philosophy for runninb backs to sub out at medium health/sub out at medium fatigue, that way your backup should get at least 5 carries a game. unless your getting blown out in which case the sim engine will make you pass alot
