Yeah I think you are right about when they come in. I did get Staymates in Year 2 O-Coordinator. I just waited on picking the higher # OC's and then he pops up as a level 4 on all attributes with the spread option.

Re: College Coaches

I havent seen any of these coaches so far besides General Sanders and he got hired before I even had the chance to bid for him. When the candidates come up, i never see any of these guys. Do they just come into the league and sign as head coaches right away?

Re: College Coaches

Near the end of the season the ticker will tell you what college coaches are coming to the NFL. It usually says something like "The NFL is in for a shock as Chris Staymates has decided to bring his unique playbook from Florida to the NFL."

I know Staymates, Miraldi and Duncan usually all come after year one and can be hired as position coaches. You can then promote them to coordinator the next year if you are not happy with your coordinator or just want to promote one of them.

I do think some of the other coaches just get hired as HC right away so you do not have a chance to bid on them at least in the first few years.

Re: College Coaches

so is Chipper Duncan a college coach? i downloaded the guide, but the college coach section is scratched out, but it seems there are 13 rows there, so i assume the 13 guys listed above are the ones the guide mentions....that would leave out Chipper Duncan

does any one have the complete list or a pdf of the guide without the college coaches scratched out?
