if you're talking about the roster update that was released in September (or something like that)

it fixed a bunch of bugs.
the injury bug was the main one.
also others like scrub players asking for rediculous contracts and things like that.

i think it also included bret favre added to the Jets.

however, it doesn't work on previously saved games.
