I am about to go back to this game again and was wondering what the weakest path was. I am looking for something a little more realistic than the super talent of like the english path.

I think I'm going to do the same as far as going back to this game. I wish there was a way to edit the rosters manually since they aren't going to update them.

As far as the weakest path...I believe that the draft classes are random.

There are four draft paths in HC. Once you start on one path, you're locked in and they aren't random.

Weakest draft paths initially are the Maceo Sweetney path and the Mike Zazzali path. Neither one of those has the depth of superstar talent in the first few years as the English or Ozzy Jones paths do.

fitting as ive done two careers and gotten zazzali/sweetney...

. 1 super bowl win in 26 seasons is not good for this game.

I read the English path is front-loaded, but tapers off at the end (but I've never made it past season 6 so can't confirm this), and one of the other paths - can't remember which one - is backloaded.

None of the paths are weak or strong as such, its just whether they are front or back loaded in terms of when the elite players come out

people say zazzali and sweetney, but i think sweetney is the worst. on one of my franchises i have lineman all over 6'11 and i used the zazzali draft.

I've scouted 13 seasons of the zazzali path and I'm on season 4 of the sweeteny. Sweetney is the weakest/hardest path. In the zazzali path you can always find startes in the later rounds. In the sweetney path, there are considerably less players with potentials of 85 and higher.
