Creating a playbook
I know that this is a basic question. I have been trying figure out how to create a playbook using more than one coach's playbook plays. Is it possible? I know that you can steal plays in season and add them to your playbook but I am talking about when you first create one.Tags: None -

Not as far as I've been able to see.I have been trying figure out how to create a playbook using more than one coach's playbook plays. Is it possible?
When you create a playbook, you're limited to the formations of the playbook you choose as a base. So if there are plays outside your base 'book in the formations you use, you can add them - but you can't add any plays that use entirely-new formations. That's only available to you through stealing plays in-season.
I was annoyed by this in revising McCarthy's Packers playbook to start my current franchise. I included some great new plays for the Weak Twin I form, but couldn't add any Strong I, Ace Twin (i.e. 2TE), 3TE Singleback, or Big I (1 WR, 2RB, 2TE) formations. -

Re: Creating a playbook
When u are creating a playbook for the first time, if u go to the play type section and use for example inside runs u can add the maryland i or even wishbone... Then when u go back to formations it will have the wishbone and maryland i and u can add plays from that formation... The only problem is that unless u know the formations look then u want know excatly what ur adding...
P.s. This only works before u start a season with a playbook...Georgia Bulldogs
