Why is it that I cannot seem to teach my players running plays out of the shotgun? It always wants to just focus on passing.

I don't know how it determines what to offer in practice. That said, you can use the preseason as well as late game garbage minutes to teach players the playbook. In this game, unlike in real life, most of the learning happens in games rather than in practice. The one nice thing about this is it makes the preseason actually matter. Now rather than just simming the preseason I supersim sit so I can call plays my players don't know and help them learn. Run these plays a lot through the preseason and players will learn them then they can be effective during the games.

yeah, it is way too easy to pass in this game. sliders can help that some but not completely.

Actually, those are sim stats.

yeah, sim passing is pretty out there too. Look at the numbers that guys like alex smith put up most of the time with average talent around them in this game. If you have good recievers with tjack in a system where he plays well then I could see numbers like that not being too crazy for this game.

I have terrible receivers and run the spread option.

Occasionally you'll see an option for QB Runs come up in Gameplanning, but it comes up a lot less often than the other options.
