Does OVR and POT affect trades???

When I have played as the Ravens I usally set my philosphy for my DEs at runstopper because of the 46 and 3-4 alignments, but I always like to trade for elvis dummerveil as strictly to be used with suggs as pass rushing ends on 3rd downs, because he is a undersized pass rusher (90) and at a runstopper he is only a 79...

Do yall think that is abusing it or is it just finding players for a certain role... I am just curious what yall think about it...

It's definitely can be a cheat to meet the 85 overall goals. I found out I can set my philosophy to receiving, trade for Kevin Faulk, meet the 85 overall HB goal, and then set my philosophy back to whatever it was before.
