Ozzie Jones Draft Paths

I've just finished all the Ozzy Jones draft paths. The game makes you retire after the 2020-2021 season though. That's two less years then the English path which I'm quite sour about to be honest. So I'll list a summary for each draft path. Even though I have a notepad with all the players listed in the Jack English and Ozzie Jones paths from start to finish I'm only on the Demetrius Covington draft of the Jack English draft path. I'll give summaries of each draft. Then once I finish the English paths I'll start uploading results for the Ozzie Jones path onto here. Not all the players have elite potential I'm just listing players who Schefter talks about for now. Once all the English drafts are posted I'll start posting results for the draft paths. Here's the summaries for the Ozzy Jones Draft Paths enjoy.

2009 Ozzy Jones Draft
Your 2008 Heisman results are in and here are the results. In 5th place Ozzie Jones RB Oklahoma State, in 4th place Kavarrio Allen RB Tennessee, in 3rd place AJ Bishop RB Penn State, your heisman runner up was Joe Kain QB Florida State, and your 2008 Heisman winner in the Ozzy Jones Draft Path is Alex Hurst QB Alabama. While Alabama quarterback Alex Hurst decided not to declare his teammate Freddie Bates MLB Alabama did. Now there is an open competition for who the top pick will be. The top 5 picks who have the best chance of being selected as the top pick are JeMarcus Boone DT Central Florida , Ozzie Jones RB Oklahoma State, Dravanti Jordan WR Notre Dame, Joe Kain QB Florida State, and Marques Acho LE California. Right now the early favorite of these 5 to get selected first is Boone, but Acho is right behind him and Kain could creep up due to the fact their is no one to rival his ability and due to the fact that there is competition on the defensive line for Boone and Acho along with competition for Ozzie Jones and Dravanti Jordan at their respective positions. That may ultimately lead to Kain being the top selection in April's draft. In this class there are 5 defensive lineman who have top 5 talent those lineman are JeMarcus Boone DT Central Florida, Marques Acho LE California, Cauraun Lawrence RE Notre Dame, DeAndre Roe DT Tennessee, and Doki Somona LE Pittsburgh. All 5 of these defensive lineman have top 5 talent written all over them. The other future 50 player to watch for besides Ozzie Jones and JaMarcus Boone is Notre Dame WR Dravanti Jordan. In the National Championship Miami edged out Colorado 35-34 in a shootout game. Kammerion Walker WR Colorado was the main reason the Buffaloes got all the way to the National Title. Danny Carey TE Miami FL was the games MVP as he guided the Hurricanes to the National Championship. Notre Dame has some other players besides Jordan and Lawrence that could make an impact at the next level. Those two players are left guard Spencer Anderson and quarterback Noah Wyoming who guided the Irish to an 8-4 record with loses by 4 points or less in each game against Miami FL, Florida State, Colorado, and Alabama. The fact is Wyoming was only outplayed by the teams that made the National Title and the top two Heisman finalists. The Pac 10 has two other standouts besides Acho. Those players are Scott Burke RG Stanford and Mister Wright ROLB Oregon. That's right I said Mister Wright what a ironic name. Secondary prospects include Karl Dixon CB Memphis who lead the NCAA in interceptions and Drew Goddard FS Colorado State.

2010 Alex Hurst Draft
Hurst opted to return to Alabama for his senior year after losing the SEC Title game to Tennessee a team he torched in regular season play by the score of 42-14 the previous year. His Crimson tide got off to a 4-0 start against non conference opponents. In October he got the team to a 8-0 record with victories over Florida, LSU, Tennessee, and Auburn the team that beat them. In November Alabama hosted Mississippi State, and Ole Miss and beat both teams by more than 10 points. It looked like Hurst would deliver the Crimson Tide to a national title like he promised before the season as the Tide were 10-0 and needed one win against Kentucky on the road or against Arkansas in Alabama to wrap up the SEC West and play thee Florida Gators for the SEC Title Game. In Hurst's final two games he threw 1 touchdowns 2 interceptions including a critical 4th quarter interception to Dontrelle Jones SS Kentucky which game the Wildcats a golden opportunity to pull off a huge upset. Kentucky made a 27 yard field goal giving the Wildcats a 27-24 victory. The following week Alabama returned home to wrap up the year against Arkansas. Demetrius Grimes CB Arkansas boosted his draft stock in this game picking off Hurst 3 times in a 34-7 razorback vicotry to keep Alabama out of the SEC title game. During this time Boar Jackson RB Auburn managed to gain 1207 rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns in the final 4 games. Jackson took the Tigers to the SEC title despite losing to Alabama earlier in the year. Auburn pummeled Florida and Ike Fletcher FS Florida 56-7 to win the SEC Title Game. Jackson managed to gain 356 rushing yards, 153 receiving yards, 5 rushing touchdowns, and 3 receiving touchdowns in the contest. This propelled the Auburn Tigers up to the #2 ranking in the polls and allowed Boar Jackson to beat out defending Heisman Champ Alex Hurst for the Heisman hardware. One team did manage to climb its way to the top ranking in the polls despite a 7-5 record the previous year and gained a 52 to 17 victory against the Pittsburgh Panthers keeping Doki Somanu sackless to finish the previous year 8-5. That team was the North Carolina Tar Heels. They returned better than ever making to the National Title before losing to Auburn. The players that got the Tar Heels to where there at are Nick Erickson LT North Carolina, Walter Wright RT North Carolina who decided to return to school, Corey Kirk WR North Carolina, Armond Carrier MLB North Carolina, and Nick Cane QB North Carolina. The Falcons drafted a quarterback that was really good in my career. I can't remember who he is, but they drafted Cane so it might be him. Ignore what I said about Cane busting. There are two other quarterbacks that could be drafted after Alex Hurst. Those guys are Talon Tolliver QB San Diego State, Corbin Conner QB Vanderbilt, and Nick Cane QB North Carolina. Jermail Rucker TE Cincinnati is the best tight end in this draft. The two intriguing guards are the Onken brothers. Blake Onken RG Texas A/M is the better prospect, but John Onken LG Texas A/M plays the more important guard position on the offensive line in the left guard position. It's safe to say both of the Onken brothers will have promising careers. Despite Mister Wright's departure in last years draft the two Pac 10 All American linebackers on the Pac 10 All American first team are Vinny DeFlippo LOLB UCLA and Chief Sanders MLB Arizona. Central Florida has a sleeper defensive tackle compared to Kevin Williams entering the draft who played with JaMarcus Boone last year. I'm not buying the hype just yet.

2011 Tristian Riley Draft
The Tristian Riley draft was headlined by one player who took a Tom Brady like fall. That man was Tristian Riley QB Ole Miss. Besides Riley there are a boatload of franchise quarterbacks including Kolby Fitch who has the cannon arm, elite pinpoint accuarcy, solid awareness for a rookie, and an elite learning rate. Besides Fitch and Riley the other 3 quarterbacks to keep your eye on are Marshall Prosser QB Notre Dame, Blake Holliday QB Texas, and Ben Wade QB Wyoming. Prosser is a dual threat quarterback compared to Carson Palmer he is also the successor to Noah Wyoming. Blake Holliday grew up watching Vince Young in high school idolizing him as a kid in high school. Needless to say he reminds a lot of people of Young as he has JaMarcus Russell's arm, Michael Vicks legs before the dogfighting charges, and Tom Brady's mentality. Defensive coordinators have a rough time trying to assemble gameplans with a quarterback who has one of those personality traits, but stopping a quarterback with all three of those traits is just plain scary. People have been comparing Ben Wade to Carson Palmer and Troy Aikman. He started the year as a 6th round prospect right there with Riley. When the season ended he was a 5th round prospect. By the time the senior bowl was over he was a third round prospect and with a breakout combine people are saying this kid has a chance of being a first rounder and is practically a day 1 lock. Wade is viewed at as a top 10 pick by the time pro days are over and when individual workouts are over some teams have Wade up there with Kolby Fitch as a top 5 quarterback. This draft has 5 impact runningbacks Jelanie Okoye RB Oregon State, Joker Jones RB LSU, Myron Wilson RB Stanford, Junior Legion RB Texas, and LeMarcus Taylor RB TCU who is a Ladainian Tomlinson clone. Okoye and Wilson met in the Oregon State @ Stanford game. The Cardinal might have won the battle, but they didn't win the war. At the end of the year LSU was ranked #1 while Oregon State worked its way back to the #2 spot while Stanford lost 4 straight, Louisville lost down the stretch, and Miami lost again after losing early in the year. Joker Jones won the Heisman, but Okoye won MVP honors after leading the beavers to the National Title game. For the second year in a row a runningback lost in regular season play and helped their team get back to the title to win it. Besides Okoye other Pac 10 standouts include teammate Luke Lock CB Oregon State and Pac 10 rival KC Baas WR Oregon who was being compared to Chad Johnson. Honestly Ochocinco probably would think that's a disgrace because he attended Oregon State. There were no standout left tackles, but there was a standout right tackle. That was Walter Wright RT North Carolina who was the only Tar Heel starter returning to the team following last years painful loss to Auburn. The Iowa Hawkeyees got to the Rose Bowl thanks to two elite linebacker prospects in Ben Gray MLB Iowa anad Abdul Ross ROLB Iowa. Besides Luke Lock the other corener to challenge him was Phillip Banks CB Wyoming. The top two safeties competing against each other to be the first safety drafted are are Levon Proctor FS Boston College and Demetrius Ponder SS Miami FL.

2012 Donsay Smith Draft
The 2011 Heisman results are in for the Ozzie Jones path and here are the results. In 5th place Bobby Cole QB West Virginia who got the Mountaineers off to a 4-0 heading into the last week of September. Cole lost to Georgia Southern, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati. In November West Virginia would go on to win 3 straight to end the year on a four game winning streak. In 4th place Kevin Huff QB Miami FL Huff has the Hurrcianes sitting in the top spot in the top 25. rankings as the seasons ends. He also has over 3500 passing yards for the second year in a row. Last year Huff had a shot of getting the Hurricanes a national title win for the second time in his career. He failed to seize that opportunity. This year Huff wants to finish what he started at Miami with a second title. In 3rd place is Donsay Smith RB Georgia Southern. Smith went 3-1 against division 1 schools the four schools he went against are West Virginia, USC, Arizona, and Cincinnati. Georgia Southern outscored opponents by a combined score of 107-37. While their only loss came against the Bearcats in a 30-27 overtime shootout. In 2nd place the Heisman runner up is Ashton Wilder who broke the NCAA record for rushing yards and touchdowns in a career. The Heisman winner was DeAngelo Marshall RB Cincinnati who outrushed Utah and Ashton Wilder in a regular season game. Because of that and the upsets Marshall pulled on West Virginia and Kolby Fitch and Louisville last year Marshall edged out Wilder in the closest Heisman race in NCAA History on the Ozzie Jones path. The top tight end in this draft is Jiovanni Loucks TE Tennessee. The two ACC All American offensive tackles to keep an eye on are Tyler Hart LT Boston College and Benji Kato RT Virginia Tech. Brady Sanders LT TCU is another lineman to keep an eye on. There are two elite left ends Brad Loucks LE Duke and Daryl Smith LE Michigan State. Right Ends include Jamie Hobson RE Kansas and Rolly Warwick RE North Carolina State. There are three potential first round defensive tackles. They are Adrian Hopkins DT UCLA, Corey Witherspoon DT Vanderbilt, and Grant Carroll DT USC. Steven Redman MLB Kansas is the best middle linebacker in this draft and along with Hobson provided some stability for the Jayhawk defense. Darius Conroy ROLB Oregon is following in the footsteps of Mister Wright.

2013 Colin Calliste Draft
This draft is headlined by one player. Colin Caliste QB Arizona. Caliste is the best quarterback to play for Arizona in NFL Head Coach 09 besides Mike Zazzali who has his own draft path. 5 runningbacks were Heisman finalists. In 5th place you had Dwayne Taylor RB Memphs. Taylor reminds a lot of people of DeAngelo Williams. In 4th place you had Jakari Biggs RB Florida State, In 3rd place was redshirt freshman ReShawn Thomas RB Ohio State, In 2nd place was the junior Heisman runner up Darby Miles RB Missouri who decided to return for his senior year. The 2013 Heisman winner in the Jones path was Julian Keaton RB Nebraska who led the Huskers to a 12-0 record and a Big 12 title. The Huskers are currently the top ranked team in the nation and play the Ohio State university for the National Championship. Despite losing Danny Carey in 2009 the U found a new tight end. Dimitrius Maples TE Miami FL. The top left tackle in this draft is Matthew Griffith LT California, but he is a 3rd to 4th round prospect in the minds of some GM's. There's a lot of competition with the defensive line. Starting at left end you got two elite left ends in Willie Burns LE Michigan and Dominic Erving LE Notre Dame. The two right ends to watch are Alonzo Coleman RE North Carolina and Ty May RE Colorado. The final position to watch out for on the defensive line is the defensive tackle position. Rodney Morris DT UNLV and Kelvin Cooper DT USC are two defensive tackles who could have an immediate impact at the next level. Rock Burnett MLB Ohio State is hands down the best middle linebacker in this draft. In my mind next to Tack Adams MLB Clemson, Mack Jackson MLB UNLV, and Vince McGrady MLB he is the fourth best middle linebacker in the four draft paths. Alex Baker CB Oregon State played across from Luke Lock when the Beavers won the national title a year ago. Its ironic that LSU QB Mark Castle was a top 10 pick despite throwing 1 touchdown and 5 interceptions in a 35-14 loss to the Beavers when they played in the National Championship a year ago. Lock was accountable for 3 interceptions while Baker picked off Castle twice. Tennessee has a duo of safeties in Jarvis Green FS Tennessee and Rod Patchen SS Tennessee. One of these safeties is a pro bowler and the other is a bust. I think it would be more fun to keep you guys in suspense a bit longer. Toby Young SS Michigan is the other SS in this draft. Rock Burnett held Julian Keaton to 58 rushing yards on 26 carries as the Buckeyes won 17-7 against the Huskers.

2014 Darby Miles Draft
Ohio State started the preseason with the top ranking in the polls after being Nebraska. Texas was returning a lot of talent despite losing the Big 12 title the year before to Nebraska. As the season progressed Texas dismantled Oklahoma and Missouri. The Longhorns jumped Ohio State in the process due to the strength and large margain of their victories. Another Big 12 foe that didn't play Texas in Regular Season who was ranked 25th in the top 25 to start the year climed all the way up to #3 in the polls when the regular season ended. The play of the Jackson brothers at Colorado with Marcus Jackson RB Colorado and JeMarcus Jackson LOLB Colorado got the Buffaloes all the way to #3 in the polls and both the #3 Buffaloes and the #1 Longhorns headed into the Big 12 title undefeated. In the end Colorado won 17-14 and advanced to the National Championship. Colorado jumped to #2 in the polls and played the #1 Buckeyes for the title. These were the Heisman Results. In 5th place was Augustus Gordon QB Oregon. Gordon guided the Oregon Ducks who weren't even ranked at the beginning of the year to an 12-0 record. In 4th place was JeMarcus Jackson LOLB Colorado, 3rd place Marcus Jackson RB Colorado who barely finished behind sophomore redshirt ReShawn Thomas RB Ohio State. Darby Miles RB Missouri won the Heisman because he broke Ashton Wilder's records and became the all time leader in NCAA career rushing touchdowns. Darius Weeks RB Florida could be another sleeper runningback. There are a few elite wide receiver prospects in this draft. Starting with Nick Burke WR Ole Miss and Blake Torrence WR Georgia Tech. The elite left tackle is Shawn Blaylock LT Texas. A left guard to watch is Zach Rhodes LG Iowa State. The two left ends to watch are Harry Olsen LE Southern Miss and Ben Olton LE Arkansas. Right End Senario Moser RE Florida State is clearly the best right end in this draft. Two Houston Cougar players to keep an eye on are Akari Moore DT Houston and Jabari Gordon CB Houston. Brody Miller MLB Georgia is the best middle linebacker in this draft. There are three safeties in the big 12 to keep an eye on. Andruw Woods FS Texas, Zach Bradford FS Oklahoma, and Janoris Love SS Texas A/M.

2015 Juwan Williams Draft
This draft is headlined by one player Juwan Williams LE Georgia. Another left end that could challenge Williams in the draft is Aaron Harbin LE Boise State. There are other defensive ends that are just as good as Juwan Williams. Just look at the right end position Xavier Franklin RE Virginia and DeQuan Gallon RE California. Defensive Tackles in this draft Junior Chavez DT Texas the only Longhorn from last years team. The other defensive tackle is Vincent McDonald DT Purdue. The Heisman Trophy was a two horse race between ReShawn Highsmith who finally won his first Heisman and guided the Buckeyes to a third straight BCS Championship game. While Highsmith got the Heisman Oscar Jamison RB Georgia Tech was rewarded the sweeter prize the MVP honors of the National title game. There are two elite cornerbacks in this draft Niko Buchanon CB Michigan and Cole McCoy CB UCLA. Travis Conley FS Tulane is hands down the only elite free safety in this draft.

2016 Lee Claxton Draft
This draft is headlined by one player. The first left tackle to win the Heisman Trophy. His name is Lee Claxton. I posted before that John Cameron LT South Florida was the fourth best left tackle in the game after the three future 50 players oshinowa LT Nebraska, Daniels, and Jackson. I drafted Lee Claxton and I wonder if every draft path has an elite Florida LT The English path has Javon Jackson, the Maceo Sweetney path has Travien Daniels LT Florida, and the Ozzy Jones path has Lee Claxton. Claxton led the Gators to the National Title and helped the Gators win the title. The two runningbacks to watch in this path are Darik August RB Minnesota and Reggie Bowe RB Georgia. The receivers to keep an eye on in this draft are Drew Steele WR Alabama, Kerry Shaw WR Virginia, and Sleepy Preston WR Kentucky.

2017 Colt Goodman Draft
This draft is headlined by a hype machine. When the regular season starts Colt Goodman is the top prospect in the draft. By November Schefter is raving about this guy and how the Sooners are ranked #2 in the land behind Florida. Goodman goes on to win the Heisman, but loses to heisman runner up Antwan Barnes RB West Virginia as the Mountaineers win 31-17 against the Sooners in the National Title game. One standout tight end is Keaton Reed TE Florida State. Left Tackle Jacob Locke enters his fourth year as a starter after leading the Buckeyes to three national titles in 3 years as left tackle. A player at Locke's rival school is the best left guard in the country. I'm talking about Dan Potter LG Michigan. Another all pro Wolverine lineman is Henry Ross RT Michigan. The center to get in this draft is Justin Darby C Duke. Max Benson RT Miami Ohio is a sleeper prospect. Houston defensive ends Kole Roger LE Houston and Mike Tolliver are two players to watch for in this draft. Cornerback Charles McMalle CB South Carolina is an elite man coverage corner who is usually taken #1 overall in this draft.

2018 Shawn Donovan Draft
This draft is headlined by one player Shawn Donovan LT Navy. Ohio State ended the year #2 and Washington ended the year #1. Quarterback Raymond Hester won the Heisman, but runningbacks Mike Mayweather RB Notre Dame and Alex Baker RB Indiana gave Hester a run for their money in the end Hester won the Heisman and the National Title.

2019 Sedrick Lewis Draft
This draft is headlined by one player who won the Heisman and the National Title. That player is Sedrick Lewis RB Illinois

2020 Kareem Ware Draft
This draft is headlined by one player who guided the Bruins to a #2 ranking at the end of the year and a national championship victory. That player is Kareem Ware LT UCLA who is compared to Jonathan Odgen. The irony is Odgen actually attended college at UCLA so you could Ware is Odgen clone. The 2019 Heisman winner was Donyell Jefferson RB Florida State. Jefferson guided the Seminoles to a #1 ranking in the polls. Jefferson led the nation in rushing yards despite losing the National title to UCLA. National Title MVP Stacey WR UCLA is the best receiver in this draft and is one player to keep an eye on. Besides Kareem Ware LT UCLA the other left tackle to watch is Tony Green LT Virginia Tech. The two quarterbacks to watch are conference USA All Americans are Josh Sanders QB UTEP and Lance Samuels QB Marshall. The final position to watch in this draft is the cornerback position. Sanders is the protoypical pocket passer compared to Carson Palmer while Samuels is the dual threat quarterback out of Marshall who is being compared to Byron Leftwich. Both quarterbacks have a potential rating of 85 or higher so you can't go wrong with either one. It really comes down to personal preference. Do you like an accurate pocket passer or a dual threat quarterback? David Owens CB Maryland and Johnny Blair CB UAB.

The game makes you retire after this and it stinks that you get two less years in this path than the English path. So With the Jack English draft path I had 2 Super Bowl victories in 15 years with the New England Patriots. I traded my #7 overall pick for the Raiders 2009 first round pick. I got the second pick and took Javon Jackson moved Matt Light to right tackle after week 4 and then drafted Dane Morrow late in round 1 as a successor even though Duran Riley CB Texas was still available that was a mistake. In the Ozzie Jones path with the Buccaneers I won 2 Super Bowls and made 4 Super Bowls. I'll start posting draft updates after I finish posting draft updates for the Jack English draft path. I really hoped this helped anyone and I thank anyone who read through this long article.

Re: Ozzie Jones Draft Paths

Ozzie Jones Draft
Quarterbacks Joe Kain QB Florida State, Noah Wyoming QB Notre Dame, and Georgia Southern QB
Runningbacks Ozzie Jones RB Oklahoma State and Kavarrio Allen RB Tennessee
Wide Receivers Dravanti Jordan WR Notre Dame high potential in speed philosophy, but is injury prone. If you put Jordan in the route running philosophy he will only have 84 potential and be considered a bust. The only reason I'll underline him later is because he is future 50 prospect. Kammerion Walker WR Colorado
Tight Ends Danny Carey TE Miami FL and Delaware State TE
Left Guard Spencer Anderson LG Notre Dame
Right Guard Scott Burke RG Stanford
Left Ends Marques Acho LE California and Doki Somanu LE Pittsburgh
Right End Cauraun Lawrence RE Notre Dame
Defensive Tackles JeMarcus Boone DT Central Florida and DeAndre Roe DT Tennessee
Middle Linebackers Freddie Bates MLB Alabama and VMI MLB
Right Outside Linebacker Mister Wright ROLB Oregon
Free Safety Drew Goddard FS Colorado State

Players that are underlined are superstars and players that are in bold are busts.

2009 Ozzie Jones Draft
1. Oakland Raiders Joe Kain QB Florida State
2. Chicago Bears Kavarrio Allen RB Tennessee
3. Washington Redskins JeMarcus Boone DT Central Florida
4. Houston Texans Danny Carey TE Miami FL
5. Cleveland Browns Marques Acho LE California
6. Miami Dolphins DeAndre Roe DT Tennessee
7. Atlanta Falcons Drew Goddard FS Colorado State
8. Buffalo Bills Kammerion Walker WR Colorado
9. Carolina Panthers Mister Wright ROLB Oregon
10. Philadelphia Eagles Martin Brickley WR Ohio State
11. Green Bay Packers Cauraun Lawrence RE Notre Dame
12. St. Louis Rams Jiovanni Johnson QB UCLA
13. Cincinnati Bengals Shevin Pepper RB UCLA
14. Detroit Lions Torrey Washington CB East Carolina
15. Arizona Cardinals AJ Bishop RB Penn State
16. Kansas City Chiefs Karl Dixon CB Memphis
17. Cincinnati Bengals Doki Somanu LE Pittsburgh
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ozzie Jones RB Oklahoma State
19. Washington Redskins Dravanti Jordan WR Notre Dame
20. Denver Broncos Andy Holt WR Indiana
21. Minnesota Vikings Jason Webb WR USC
22. Pittsburgh Steelers Durrand Barton CB Michigan State
23. Washington Redskins Darick Roberts RE Boston College
24. Chicago Bears Dexter Wells ROLB UAB
25. Denver Broncos Brenden Washington DT UAB
26. San Diego Chargers Edwin Braxton DT Oregon
27. New York Giants William Garrett CB Syracuse
28. Indianapolis Colts Scott Burke RG Stanford
29. Philadelphia Eagles Benjamin Bannister QB Michigan
30. New England Patriots Devin Jansen MLB Wisconsin
31. Tennessee Titans Mark Figgins LT Oregon
32. Cleveland Browns Evan Williams LOLB Ball State

15 superstars
17 busts

11 of the 15 superstars are drafted in the top 11 while two of the other 15 players could be crossed off the list. If you exclude Dravanti Jordan WR Notre Dame that's only 14 superstars and if Scott Burke falls off the list that's 13 superstars. Leaving you with the option of drafting Doki Somanu LE Pittsburgh or Ozzie Jones RB Oklahoma State who can sometimes fall all the way to 30. Ozzie Jones RB Oklahoma State is the best long term player in this draft so take him unless your set at runningback. If Jones is gone trade down. If your set at runningback trade up the moment a team wants to trade down. If a team doesn't trade down and your set take Ozzie Jones if Jones is gone trade down for more picks or a future first round pick. I hope this helped.

Re: Ozzie Jones Draft Paths

I really enjoy reading your draft previews. Thanks for all the hard work. I am especially looking forward to the next one (Alex Hurst draft).

By the way, I would just like to add a little tidbit of information for anyone on the lookout for a cheap kick / punt returner from the Ozzie Jones draft. In week seven, I had lost all three of my return men in a single game.

Fortunately, I was able to find an undrafted rookie HB from Notre Dame with an 89 POT in kick return sitting in the FA pool. His OVR was a 65 as a HB, but he returned two kickoffs for TD's in his very first game as a return man.

Re: Ozzie Jones Draft Paths

First off I want to say thanks to the positive feedback and responses I've been getting. I'll be busy the rest of the week writing NFL offseason reviews for a sports website, acting audition past my cities airport, and preordering NCAA 11 and the gamerosters memory card that gives you info on the top players in NCAA 11 until the weekend occurs so I figured I'd post the Hurst draft today and work on the other drafts this weekend if I get some free time. I told you in my first post that I was the Buccaneers in this career the whole time. I took Ozzie Jones in the Ozzie Jones draft path and traded down for Spencer Anderson LG Notre Dame with my 2nd first round pick in 2009. This year I had 2 first round picks and one of those players was a top 5 pick that fell to 14. At that point I had to trade up to get this player.

Alex Hurst Draft
Quarterbacks Alex Hurst QB Alabama, Talon Tolliver QB San Diego State, Corbin Conner QB Vanderbilt, and Georgia Southern QB
Runningbacks Boar Jackson RB Auburn, Noel Shine RB West Virginia, Derek Nickerson RB SMU, and Iowa RB compared to Edgerin James
Fullbacks British Jackson FB California and Wisconsin FB compared to Justin Griffith
Wide Receivers Cory Kirk WR North Carolina, Amos Coles WR Washington State, and Tyron Eastwood WR Fresno State
Tight Ends Jermail Rucker TE Cincinnati and Delaware State TE
Left Tackle Nick Erickson LT North Carolina
Left Guard John Onken LG Texas A/M
Center Northern Illinois C compared to Matt Birk
Right Guard Blake Onken RG Texas A/M
Right Tackle Deveo Hutton RT Minnesota he might go to Memphis it was hard to read my writing so I apologize if you have trouble finding him. The thing is I wrote all the best players in each draft on a note pad the front side containing the top prospects with the back containing each pick in the first round of that draft. If you want info on any draft with the Jack English or Ozzie Jones path just pm me and I'll send you that information to help you out with your career. Until then I'll just post the info in the Ozzie Jones Draft path from the Alex Hurst Draft till the end of the game.
Left Ends Genesis Morrison LE Utah and Delwan Robinson LE Mississippi State
Right Ends Drew Hilton RE UCLA and Nick Elliot RE Purdue
Defensive Tackles Anton Weaver DT Northern Illinois Central Florida DT compared to Kevin Williams who played across JaMarcus Boone last year.
Left Outside Linebacker Vinny DeFlippo LOLB UCLA
Middle Linebacker VMI MLB
Cornerbacks Demetrius Grimes CB Arkansas, Craig Mingo CB Washington, Craig Dexter CB Baylor, Nelson Atkinson CB Hawaii, and Eric Scott CB Stanford
Free Safeties Ike Fletcher FS Florida and Kareem Green FS Illinois
Strong Safeties Dontrelle Jones SS Kentucky and Julius Green SS Nebraska
Punter Grant Treywick P Texas

2010 Alex Hurst Draft
1. Miami Dolphins Alex Hurst QB Alabama
2. Cleveland Browns Boar Jackson RB Auburn
3. Buffalo Bills Craig Mingo CB Washington
4. Carolina Panthers Cory Kirk WR North Carolina
5. San Francisco 49ers Anton Weaver DT Northern Illinois
6. Kansas City Chiefs Corbin Conner QB Vanderbilt
7. New York Jets Noel Shine RB West Virginia
8. Pittsburgh Steelers Genesis Morrison LE Utah
9. San Diego Chargers Ike Fletcher FS Florida
10. Arizona Cardinals Demetrius Grimes CB Arkansas
11. St. Louis Rams Vinny DeFlippo LOLB UCLA
12. Chicago Bears Drew Hilton RE UCLA
13. Atlanta Falcons Josh Cane QB North Carolina
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Nick Erickson LT North Carolina
15. Baltimore Ravens Craig Dexter CB Baylor
16. Houston Texans Derek Nickerson RB SMU
17. Detroit Lions Nick Elliot RE Purdue
18. New Orleans Saints Nelson Atkinson CB Hawaii
19. Tennessee Titans Tyron Eastwood WR Fresno State
20. Washington Redskins Talon Tolliver QB San Diego State
21. Denver Broncos Amos Coles WR Washington State
22. Green Bay Packers J Covan Jones WR Arkansas
23. Seattle Seahawks Ivan Steele DT Georgia Tech
24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Blake Onken RG Texas A/M
25. San Francisco 49ers Jermail Rucker TE Cincinnati
26. New England Patriots Eric Scott CB Stanford
27. Dallas Cowboys Justin Newberry LE Georgia Tech
28. San Francisco 49ers Delwan Robinson LE Mississippi State
29. Minnesota Vikings Barry Barnett DT Auburn
30. Jacksonville Jaguars Landon Ricks LT Duke
31. New York Giants Demarcus Gill WR Michigan
32. Indianapolis Colts Deveo Hutton RT Minnesota

27 superstars
5 busts

Besides the two Georgia Tech Defensive lineman there isn't a bust until the 29th pick. This draft is loaded with talent and the first bust didn't go off the board until the 23rd pick. This draft bests the Jack English draft as far as first round talent goes, but after round 1 its John Onken LG Texas A/M and a couple of sleeper players you can find in the later rounds. No draft in the game matches the depth and stabilty of the Jack English draft, but this draft bests the English draft with first round talent in my opinion.
