I can run some **** Counters with Ozzie Jones and my dolphins line, headed on the LT by Jake Long. It's my staple running play.

I've never botherd with counters, for me sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, i prefer straight up inside runs

another thing that doesn't work that i love, screens

I've had moderate success with counters.

Screens have got to be THE most useless play in the game.

I've had screens work against me - I don't think I've ever managed a successful one myself. I do - occasionally - try them; maybe with a slower running back it'll work better.

Gruden's Bucs have occasionally gotten Earnest Graham to score a TD against me. Maybe if I use Ryan Grant rather than LeRon James, I'll have a little better luck.

theres 1 screen that works its that fk screen wheel play, 7 times out of 10 results in a sack but when the QB desides to throw it its big gains every time

Shotgun formation screens work to the WR or RB, but they need to be at least learned or better yet mastered. They can work quite well when you have them mastered, until then expect your QB to get sacked alot.

Screens and counters are useful if everyone on the offense has the play either learned or mastered. They're even more successful when the QB has high awareness and the OL is mobile. I have a veteran thing going in my Broncos career and my team executes screens and counters with success. Don't get me wrong, breakdowns do occur...very often too. But they aren't totally useless now. Mind you, if I put my backup RB/WR in or I sub out a lineman, my screens/counters are pretty much nonexistent.

Also, I have a lot of created screens and counters that I used.
