now granted, I don't know much about HC's online features...but I know there is a HUGE following of the game.... I would've hoped that EA would've look at this particular game differently compared to games like Madden 10 PSP or Fifa 07 360.

I was hoping this might have meant maybe there is a new version coming out or something...but I have read that EA is cutting back on the amount of games they release yearly...so I don't know.

I don't think anyone plays Head Coach online, or not many. Still...not good news.

yeah, I tried to edit the title...for some reason I wasn't sure if the game had online franchise or anything.... I just presumed it did, because so much gamers rave about this title. Since the devs post on the Madden Forums...they know how much some still play this game...I would've thought this one would've been off limits compared to the other titles... at least until there was a sequel...or something similar in the next version of Madden.

So we are losing the upload download of plays? What about the ticker with updates of real scores?

Not really a big deal. It won't affect gameplay at all, just the play down loading.

It'll be harder to meet the Create 10 plays goal now. I will miss being able to download plays.

Didn't downloading plays cause the game to crash/freeze?

Does this mean that if you get the game after the date listed, you will be unable to get the patch?

We might lose the ticker. I noticed last night to adjust the ticker settings you have to go online.
